TiviMate Setup: The Complete Beginner's Guide

TiviMate is arguably the best IPTV app for Android TV, Fire Stick and Android boxes. Its polished interface, program guide (EPG) and fast channel zapping make it the enthusiast's reference. Here's how to set up TiviMate step by step, even with zero experience.

Step 1 — Install TiviMate

TiviMate isn't available as a classic free app in the official stores. You'll find it through its official trial, or via the .apk file provided by your IPTV provider (as shown in our Fire Stick installation guide). Once installed, launch the app.

Step 2 — Add your Xtream Codes or M3U playlist

• Xtream Codes: choose this mode and enter the name, server, username and password received when your IPTV41 plan was activated.
• M3U: paste the full M3U playlist URL provided (read Xtream Codes vs M3U if in doubt).

TiviMate automatically loads all your channels and VOD content. The hard part is done!

Step 3 — Activate the program guide (EPG)

You now get a TV grid comparable to your old cable box: current and upcoming programs, with catch-up support on some channels.

Step 4 — Organize and customize your channels

• Favorites: press the select button on a channel to add it to favorites (the "Favorites" tab at the top of the screen).
• Reorganize: in the group menu, choose edit mode to reorder, hide or rename channels just like any TV guide.
• Theme: several themes and light/dark modes are available in the display settings.

Step 5 — Record and watch in multi-screen

The Premium version of TiviMate adds very useful features: scheduled recording of shows and matches, multi-screen viewing (up to 4 channels at once) and catch-up. It's the perfect way to never miss live sports in 4K again.

TiviMate troubleshooting

• "Playlist not found": check the M3U URL (it must start with http://) and the Xtream Codes server.
• Empty EPG: wait a few minutes, the guide loads in the background.
• Slow interface: close background players and prefer 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
• Black channels: check your connection stability, then contact our support if it persists.
